Product Care

Leather Care:  Leather care is essential for achieving the most out of your jacket / handbag or leather good. Most of the items from PLANINSEK are already treated and do not have to be conditioned for one year. A neutral leather cream is sufficient to recondition and protect your item.

If your leather has been in humidity and you find it has mould, this is easily removed with some neutral leather cream. Simply rub cream over the area and wipe off. Mould only sits on top of the leather and usually does not go into the leather.

Suede Care:  All of the suede at PLANINSEK is already treated. Most of our garments have leather facing and trims to avoid oil getting directly onto the suede. If you would like to re freshen your garment, a suede spray from a 30cm distance can be sprayed over it and lightly brushed down with a ever so slightly abraisive cloth.

Fur Care:  To keep the fur in the best condition, leave it out and hanging amongst your items as you would any other garment. If you must cover your fur, use a natural material such as cotton so it allows the fur to breath. Never cover your fur in plastic. If you are in a humid environment, try and keep it in a cool place.

Handbag repair:  All of the handbags and items from PLANINSEK have a 1 year guarantee. If you find there is a fault or a repair which needs to take place, simply bring your item into the shop and it will be sent off and returned as soon as possible with an estimated 7-10 day turn around.
